Green Fluorite on Pyrite (Ramos Collection)

Item Description

A shocking contrast of intense vivid green fluorite on brilliant metallic pyrite makes the few good specimens from these finds of 2020-2021 among the world's most colorful and desirable fluorite combination pieces. The fluorite cluster is 2.8 cm across and perfect. The photos tell it all - there has never been a find with such color contrast, green on metallic gold, from any mine. Ever. Who said we had seen it all?! Peru surprised us with this choice material from a small mine outside the normal areas - not from Huanzala as people think and as many are mislabelled by those who simply were not close to the source (and we do have a location which we will give out at a later time). This specimen, valued $3500-4500, is donated by his family in memory of the famous, affable, well-loved Peruvian dealer Elmer Ramos, who sadly passed away last year.
