Luscious, apple-green, rounded fluorite cuboctahedrons form a showy specimen from the well-known California fluorite locality, the Felix Mine. The lustrous, translucent crystals have stepped-growth, frosted faces with purple highlights. Three small spots of scuffing have minimal impact to the quality of this piece. Excellent purple fluorescence. This is older, now rare, highly representative, classic material. Now impossible to find, nearly, the locale being in urban LA's sprawl. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and acquired in 1986 at the Boron Show.
