Item Description

A gemmy and lustrous, green Brazilian beryl crystal with a super glassy, transparent, termination and very unusual, lightly frosted sides. The crystal has textbook, hexagonal form. The termination is pristine. Complete all-around, the contacted back with embedded feldspar is out of sight and the trivial sidewear is a very modest detraction. Old-time material, probably from the 1960s or 70s from the Robert Whitmore Collection. 27 grams.
