Item Description

A classic old time specimen of Graphite from Borrowdale featuring a somewhat lustrous, matted, foliated group of grey-black carbon. How often does one see this material available on the market? They are certainly hard to find, and I would say that any English mineral collection needs to have a piece of this interesting and obscure material in it. From an old East Coast collection, with a hand-written label.
