Item Description

Grandidierite is a rare complex borosilicate found as an accessory mineral in aluminous boron rich rocks (MINDAT). This sculptural pointed miniature from the Type Locality is essentially solid, pearlescent, lightly translucent, prismatic to sheet-like, blue-green grandidierite. Specimens from the Type Locality are rare and the pegmatite may be extinct (MINDAT). Value???
