Item Description

A RARE and rich two-sided combination from this very obscure Minas Gerais locale from the Matioli Collection. Goyazite is a very uncommon hydrated Sr-phophate and kosnarite is a RARE K-Zr phosphate discovered in 1993. The front of the albite matrix is richly covered with glassy pseudocubic white goyazite crystals, to several mm, on feldspar crystals to 1cm. A couple of tiny esophorite fans are also noted. The back is richly covered with sparkly tan kosnarite crystals. A very rare and rich combination.
