Item Description
Goyazite is a fairly rare phosphate, and some of the lesser known specimens are found in the Yukon Territory. This area is only accessible for a few months per year and is rather treacherous terrain for collecting specimens. This piece hosts some attractive, sharp, translucent, silvery colored trigonal (pseudocubic) crystals of Goyazite on matrix. The largest Goyazite measures 3 mm across I have not seen many of these specimens on the market in the last few years, and this is not a typical color for the species.
