Goshenite with Schorl

Intriguing and very aesthetic combination of slender Goshenite crystals coated with Schorls that are either in needle-like crystals or cave-like botryoids. The largest Goshenite is 2.3 cm tall, and all have slightly etched surfaces. The Schorls, in either habit, range up to .7 cm. Their luster ranges from mirror-like to flat, but the cave-like habit is fantastic and aesthetic. It is like looking at a series of sculptural black Stalactites in a basalt cavern. Overall, a most unusual and fascinating miniature.
