Goshenite Beryl on Schorl (ex Shields Flynn Collection)

A show Erongo association specimen featuring several sharp, well-formed, hexagonal prisms of colorless Goshenite Beryl measuring up to 1.8 cm long sitting atop a somewhat "jackstraw"-esque group of narrow, black, striated Schorl prisms. The piece is in excellent condition overall, and it displays nicely as you can see from the photos. Good quality, showy and a great combination of black and "white" minerals together to form an eye-catching specimen. From the Collection of Shields Flynn.
