Item Description
Two striking "balls" of glassy, snow-white goosecreekite crystals are aesthetically set in the sculptural large vug lined with sparkly quartz points on this outstanding specimen from Jalgaon. Both "balls" are 3.5 cm wide. Goosecreekite is one of the very rarest Zeolite Group species. The size of the clusters, balance in the matrix, and the pure white color, combined with high lustre, make this an exceptional combination display specimen. Expertly prepared, the outer edge of the periphery ball is contacted, but is certainly only a modest detraction. Probably collected in the 1990s, they STILL are the best in the world, by a long shot! Choice material from the Rob Sielecki Collection.
