Item Description

This is certainly one of most UNUSUAL and impressive calcite specimens we have seen from anywhere in the historic Tri-State District! A large rhombohedral cleavage of golden-amber calcite has a striking internal cavity filled with gemmy, transparent to translucent blocky rhombs, to 3.0 cm. The visual aspect of this piece is surreal in person. This rare piece is from the obscure Chink Enders Mine in Oklahoma and is from the J.G. Dixon and Tom Wolfe Collections.
