Item Description

A hard to find, but good quality crystal of Golden Beryl from Newry. The crystal measures 9 mm, but is notably gemmy with lustrous faces and good hexagonal form. A small reddish Almandine crystal can be seen next to the Beryl, along with associated Microcline, Quartz and Schorl. From the collection of noted geologist, Allen Heyl, the namesake for the phosphate Aheylite. The piece comes with a Rocksmiths label.
