Item Description
Golden beryl is rare from the famous Palermo No. 1 Mine of New Hampshire and is extremely rare in this size! A 3.2 cm crystal with rich, yellow color and textbook, hexagonal form is very aesthetically set in albite matrix. The termination area is very gemmy on this lustrous, complete all-around crystal and the lustrous, pinacoid surface has a nifty, scalloped look. The modest edgewear on the backside of the crystal is barely noticeable and is out of sight. This is an outstanding large golden beryl crystal from this noted locale and was self-collected by Robert Whitmore in the 1980s. Very rare on the market in this quality and size. The UNRETOUCHED backlit photo highlights the gemminess and intense yellow color density.
