Item Description

The Sherman Mine, near Leadville, is famous for its golden barite and this is a striking and aesthetic example. A beautiful, 2.2 cm, glassy, gemmy to translucent, golden-yellow spearpoint is dramatically set on the "bow" of the shipshape matrix with smaller barytes. The large crystal at the tip is gem, color-zoned and striking. A classic and excellent specimen.
