Item Description
Golden barites from Pohla set the world standard. This is an aesthetic, upright cluster of gemmy crystals with rich color. The striking, large, doubly terminated, capstone crystal with the textbook chisel terminations is 2.8 cm. Quartz crystals on the right side of the piece are a fine compliment. The termination of the large barite has just a trivial bit of edge wear. Classic and excellent material from this historic locale in the Erzgebirge. Valued $500-750. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
