Gold with Coloradoite, Hessite and Sylvanite on Quartz

Item Description

A hard to find Gold / Telluride association specimen from a lesser known locality in Colorado. Microscopic Gold is associated with grey-silver Coloradoite plus grey Hessite and silvery Sylvanite on grey Quartz matrix. I have photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to illustrate the quality of the little crystals. This piece would certainly make a great addition to any Gold suite, or a collection of Telluride minerals. The piece was collected in 2009 off the dumps of the mine.
