Striking, multiple, three-dimensional wires of bright yellow, crystalline Native Gold from a rare Washington locality encircle a piece of snow-white, milky Quartz on this attractive thumbnail from the Ace of Diamonds Mine in Washington. The wires are actually highly elongate Gold crystals several millimeters in length that host tiny dendritic growths of less than 0.5 mm Gold crystals along their length. These wires along with their component tiny crystals are are mostly separated from the milky Quartz at the interior and they curve and twist along their length in an incredibly aesthetic fashion. The Gold is incredibly brilliant and metallic with a gorgeous light yellow color. Mass is 3.27 grams. The specimen is mounted to a small acrylic peg for display, as it came from the Rice Museum.
