Gold on Quartz

Here we have an attractive thumbnail specimen of the famous Golds from the Timmins area in Ontario. No specific mine was given, as there are literally dozens of them in the area, but it was purchased from a reliable Canadian source. Up close you can see the the brilliant, metallic, leaf-like quality of the Gold as it gently sits on the off-white colored Quartz. Good quality and fun to view under magnification. Certainly a worthwhile pick up for a native elements collector, a Canadian minerals collector or somebody who collects thumbnails.
