Gold on Quartz

Item Description

A nice thumbnail specimen of the famous and eye-catching Golds from the Timmins area in Ontario. No specific mine was given, as there are literally dozens of them in the area, but it was purchased from a reliable Canadian source. Up close you can see the brilliant, metallic Gold as it gently sits on off-white colored Quartz and grey host rock. Fun to view up close and certainly a worthwhile pick up for a native elements collector, a Canadian minerals collector or somebody who collects worldwide Golds.
