Gold on Pink Granite (rare)

Item Description

An aesthetic thumbnail specimen of two arborescent clusters of bright, burnished, microcrystalline gold beautifully concentrated on the crest of a sliver of pink granite, from the unique 1990s Newfoundland find, that we have got from the small lot. The pink tint on the granitic quartz and feldspar is unique. Some of gold is spinel-twins and some is flattened leaves. Very nifty.
