Item Description

Here we have what is considered to be a very hard to find GOLD specimen from Bisbee, Arizona. Bisbee is much more famous for prolific copper production, and Gold specimens are few and far between. This small cabinet specimen hosts some attractive little spots of Gold measuring to around 2 mm, sitting on dark grey Bornite in a vein of metallic light golden colored Pyrite on matrix. We've photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. If you collect minerals of Bisbee or native elements, this is something that is incredibly hard to find on the market, so don't miss out.
