Gold on Bornite (rare classic locality specimen)

Item Description

This piece is a notably hard to find GOLD specimen from Bisbee, Arizona, which is much more known for its prolific copper production. This miniature sized piece hosts some attractive micro groups of gold measuring to around 1 mm, sitting on dark grey Bornite matrix with metallic golden Pyrite. We've photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. If you collect minerals of Bisbee or native elements, this is something that is incredibly hard to find on the market, so don't miss out.
