Bright yellow, hoppered and flattened octahedral gold crystals comprise this highly sculptural, feather-like cutie from Papua New Guinea. Striking form with the hoppered crystals lined up on one edge of the overall spinel-twinned specimen! Specimens are seldom available from this remote locale in high mountains. Probably an older piece from the 1980s or 90s.
