Item Description
Excellent and highly representative Round Mountain gold from the Mark Mauthner Collection. This style was found in 2002-2005 and remains one of the classics of US gold finds! The "A" side of this bright, light golden-colored, sculptural, "leaf" is comprised of sharp, compressed octahedrons, some with striking stepped-growth. The "B" side is mostly leaf gold, but one corner of the leaf has many cute raised octahedrons. Valued $500-ish
