Item Description

A GOLDEN 3-piece deal from the famous Mother Lode District of California! These substantial, sculptural, flattened to rounded, river-worn gold nuggets have rich gold luster and color. The largest nugget looks like a spearpoint. The other two have a nubby look and the smallest one is 3-dimensional with an amazing artful look. It looks like a stylized bat with holes in the open wings and the rounded head has a large snout. These are the very last, old-time nuggets from a lot, that I recently purchased. The current spot price for gold is almost $46 per gram or over $1428 per troy ounce. 8.7 grams or a bullion value of $400. Specimen value for these large and shapely nuggets is significantly more, as they are from the old California classic locale.
