A GOLDEN 3-piece deal from the famous Mother Lode District of California! Three, LARGE, sculptural, flattened to rounded, river-worn gold nuggets with rich gold luster and color comprise this lot. The rectangular nugget has a sculptural, nubby look, the large nugget an oval look with a piece of embedded quartz and the other a spearpoint look. A very cute trio. These are the last of the old-time nuggets from a lot, that I purchased a number of years ago. The current spot price for gold is nearly $31 per gram or $1277 per troy ounce. 12.5 grams masss or a bullion value of over $385. Specimen value for these large nuggets is significantly more, as they are from the old California classic locale.
