Item Description
A rarely seen set of six wonderful gold nuggets from the lesser known Rich Hill area in southwestern Yavapai County. According to mindat.org, this locality is "A placer gold and in situ mineral deposit area featuring a remarkably rich placer gold deposit in the depression on the summit of the hill and on the gulches down its slopes. Located between Antelope Creek on the west and Weaver Creek on the east." The nuggets in this set are fairly "flat" (about 1-2 mm thick), but they have beautiful form on the front and back sides, some showing very slight crystalline forms. The total weight of all six nuggets is 1.88 grams. If you're a collector of worldwide gold specimens or minerals from Arizona, I'll be you don't have any Rich Hill pieces in your collection. Don't miss out
