Gold specimens from Finland are exceptionally rare on the market. This sculptural, gently rounded nugget is a rich, mellow yellow and is from a historically important gold locale - Tankavaara. Tankavaara is the home of the Gold Prospector Museum. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family. 1.22 carats or just over 0.2 grams.
