This item is part of a special benefit auction for the Rice Museum of Rocks & Minerals (ricenorthwestmuseum.org). Items are either deaccessions from the museum's collection or were donated by generous supporters listed below.

Billing for this auction will occur on Monday, April 19, for payment using PayPal or credit card. Shipping will be billed at cost, or please contact brandy@mineralauctions.com if you'd like to plan on picking up items at future shows or during a stop through Dallas.

This particular offering is for a lot of ten Gold specimens from the Ace of Diamonds Mine in Washington State. It consists of one toenail specimen and nine small thumbnail specimens. The primary specimen in this lot is a super showy, bright yellow specimen of Native Gold composed of elongate and twisted crystal wires and thin, flattened plates of Gold. the piece consists entirely of Gold without any matrix Quartz. This is a brilliant, glistening, elongate piece that is mounted in a classy display box on a black background. There are two other standouts in this lot as well that are bright, showy, artistically arranged, arborescent to dendritic aggregates of elongated Gold crystals. these two pieces are quite stunning by themselves and one is associated with a small amount of white Quartz. If these three aren't sufficient enough, there are seven other smaller pieces that go along with them to round out the lot or give to friends! The mass of these pieces could not be determined because they are anchored in their respective display boxes.
