From the collection of longtime Bisbee mineral collector and rock shop owner Chuck Youngblood, this is a rare Arizona nugget. It was sold by his estate, from the shop and collection material he left behind, and the location was attributed from his collection catalogue at that time. One presumes it came to his store from a local prospector. At 38 grams, this is about $1300 in melt value alone (assuming as it?s a very heavy nugget by specific gravity, that very little of that mass can be the lightweight quartz). Anything above that price is a premium for the natural nugget (usually 1.2 to 1.5 times spot), and for its locality value (add another 10-20%)
