Item Description

A classic Gold polished slice from the famous Sunnyside mine in the renowned San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. This piece features bright "cloud" Gold in massive Quartz and sulfide (Galena, Chalcopyrite, etc) matrix. A nice representative Gold specimen from this now defunct, but highly signficant Colorado Gold mine! The Sunnyside produced over $150,000,000 in total metals during its life.
