Item Description
This "cored" specimen is one of the few of its kind that I have seen from this mine. It features patches of "Cloud Gold" which is a speckling of small "dust"-like areas of Gold which are intergrown with white Quartz. The piece looks like a core drill sample, but could just be a polised "rod" to create the shape. This specimen was mined in 1966, and comes from the noted Colorado Gold collection of Richard A. Kosnar (specimen #G689S3). Valued at $750.
