A cool "leaf" Gold specimen from the famous specimen producing area in Grass Valley, California. These specimens tend to have a rich "orange" color which is probably from a minor amount of Copper. The piece has an elegant form with a good eye-catching patina on the surface. A showy thumbnail and a worthwhile piece of this classic Californian material.
