Item Description
Here we have 3 cools artifact rings from the an ancient city of Bagan (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) in Myanmar. All three of rings are made of bronze, but have been gilded in bright metallic gold (my guess would be around 18 to 20 karat). The largest of the three rings measures 22.63 mm x 14.35 mm and the smallest ring measures 14.45 mm x 13.38 mm. It's hard to say specifically how old the pieces are, but they could certainly date back over 100 years or more. The total weight of all 3 rings is 7.2 grams (36.0 carats), but the majority of that weight is bronze, not gold. A really cool set from an ancient city reflecting its beautiful culture. It's impossible to put a value on a set like this since they are completely unique, handmade, antique pieces of jewelry. I can safely say that you may never see others like them, so this may be your only chance to get these rings from anywhere. From the collection of Bill ("Burma Bill") Larson of Fallbrook, California. Bill is a well-known gem and mineral dealer as well as a miner and collector. Bill traveled the world for decades in search of fine gems and minerals, and was directly involved in the in-person acquisition and importation of superb specimens and stones from Myanmar (Burma).
