This fantastic and very aesthetic 3.7 cm spray of highly lustrous, iridescent brown goethite blades looks just a pair of eagle wings! The spray is dramatically set along with other goethite sprays on the matrix that includes gray hematite plates. Both species are VERY RARE from the less well-known Tarryall Mountains of Park County. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 5391. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
