Item Description

It should be noted that I am copying the label information that accompanies this piece, but I can't find a locality with this name that produces this material. Perhaps one of our Australian friends can give us a bit of help with the origin. The piece is filled with rather well-formed, rich coppery-black colored pseudomorphs of Goethite after cubic Pyrite crystals on matrix. Best viewed up close, but really attractive. The largest crystal measures 1.0 cm. Ex Harold Urish collection.
