Item Description

Quite unusual pseudomorph of Goethite after Magnetite - I have not seen one like it before. The actual pseudo is 2.7 cm across, with the original crystal habit clear and well-defined. There are intergrown Schorl crystals up to .9 cm along the bottom and lower edge,and they add interest to this rare combination. Overall, a distinctive, choice miniature.
