Goethite ps. Magnetite

Item Description

Goethite after Magnetite pseudomorphs are rather uncommon, and this single is in excellent condition. The pseudo is 1.9 cm across, and the modified octahedron is virtually complete on the presentation side - very sharp and pristine. The very bottom termination was a possible contact point, and there is a mold from a contact that has actually preserved the original metallic luster. How, I really don't know, but the effect is visually interesting and cool. This is a simple, choice, and aesthetic thumbnail.
