Item Description
Fascinating and classic large pseudomorph combination from the West Camp Potosi Mine of famed Santa Eulalia. Nubby, botryoidal goethite has replaced a large tabular gypsum crystal. Additional stalactitic goethite growth is dramatically, preferentially covered with "snow" of grayish-white, translucent, matte, botryoidal smithsonite. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The contacted termination from the wall of the vug is certainly acceptable in the context of the species. Ex Gary Weaver Collection. An uncommon and fanciful 360-degree combination replacement from the well-known locale.
