Item Description
A lustrous, well-striated, mottled brown floater crystal of goethite after a sharp pyritohedron. The Trimingham label says "Garnet Hill" area. That's the almandine garnet locality in White Pine County, MINDAT does not list goethite or pyrite for the locale. This nifty pristine crystal is undoubtably from Radar Hill in Elko County.
