Lustruous, brown goethite pseudomorphs a rich field of small pyrite cubes on this RARE pseudomorph from near Death Valley and this extinct mining ghost town. The cubes reach 2 mm and the matrix is laminated sandstone. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Formerly in the Milton Speckels Collection and collected by him in 1961, according to Bob's label. A rare possibly unique California psuedo.
