Item Description
Lustrous mahogany-brown goethite has pseudomorphed a sculptural 360-degree nodule of densely intergrown pyrite cubes from this well-known Utah locality. The striated faces and beautiful silky lustre add pizzazz to this piece. The large compound pseudo is 3.5 cm across. Some contacting and bruising is noted, but this remains a showy, highly representative and rich example of the species and locale. These came out in the mid-1990s, with few since.
