Item Description

A long, slender terminated gypsum crystal has been entirely replaced by goethite, retaining the form of the gypsum crystal. The center is hollow, and the gypsum is now completely gone. This fanciful piece looks like the burnt-out tree trunk or limb. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. A nifty Santa Eulalia pseudomorph.
