Item Description

Goethite is RARE from this ancient iron and copper mining district. This is an immensely sculptural, 3-dimensional cluster highly lustrous, bubbly black botryoids. Excellent, very uncommon and undoubtably old material from the Franz Lammer Collection and comes with an even older German label which lists the piece as schwarzer glaskopf. From an East Coast collection.
