Item Description

Highly lustrous, radiating sprays of silvery-black Goethite needles to about 1 cm line this Quartz and Chalcedony geode. The lower portion is a virtual metallic forest of needles, with one large spray off the one side and individual needles sticking out from all direction. When you look at it thoughtfully, it literally can remind you of a classic fireworks starburst, in reverse. Fascinating and absorbing, this aesthetic basaltic geode is from the less well-known Moroccan locality of Amerzgane.
