Item Description
A stunning, visually imposing, very light weight, two-sided, casted combination CABINET specimen from Santa Eulalia. Lustrous, jet-black, goethite pseudomorphs an impressive jackstraw multitude of sharp selenite blades. Scattered on the front, but FESTOONED on the convex underside are sparkly, gem-like, calcite rhombs! Calcite has even engulfed one of the blades on the top, like an icicle! We have not seen such a striking casted pseudo from the famous mines at this renowned locale. It only weights 191 grams, which is very light for the size. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection and is a real rarity.
