Goethite and Calcite (Mullane Coll.)

Item Description

Supremely splendent, intergrown, smoke-gray, goethite balls richly cover both sides of the CABINET gossan matrix and are nicely complimented by the lustrous, hematite-tinted calcite rhombs on the very showy specimen from Bisbee. The contacting is noted, but is a minor detraction compared to the striking quality of the goethite spheres. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection.
