Godovikovite is a rare sulfate, which may occur in burning coal dumps as a dehydration product of the rare hydrated sulfate, tschermigite. Yellow to white godovikovite crusts richly cover both sides of the of the lightweight, sintered matrix. Very rare and rich material, as these coal mines are closed.
