Item Description

A classic specimen from the Flinders area in Australia featuring rather lustrous (vitreous), very light pinkish-peach colored crystals of Gmelinite-Na measuring up to 6 mm across, sitting in a vug of basalt matrix. The high luster of the Gmelinite crystals doesn't come through in the video as much as they do in person, the piece simply looks better when you hold it in your hand. Good quality, no major damage that I can see, outside of the periphery where the piece was separated from the pocket wall. These piece are some of the best examples of crystallized Gmelinite from any world locality.
