Item Description

A 1.5 cm, sharp, lustrous, hexagonal, salmon-pink gmelinite crystal with a nifty tapered flying saucer shape is very aesthetically set in a vug on this showy and excellent specimen from a very well-known Australian zeolite locale. Gmelinite is one of the lesser-known and rarer zeolite minerals (hydrated sodium calcium aluminum silicate) and this is a good one from this locale. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
